26 December, 2014, Friday, at 8:15 AM wakes up from my
friend Anik Bin Rashid’s Call. I have to go to market for buy some meals & vegetables.
Yesterday I told my maid to come at 8:30
AM. So I set out quickly and put on Jacket and light a Cigarette. It’s middle of
the winter season. So everyone assume that
how cool it here. The market is in below of my house. I buy a chicken, for salad
buys some cucumbers, carrots & tomatoes and Polao rice. And back to my
room. In every Friday our meals/food menu is at the morning hot bread, and omelets
of egg, at lunch and dinner we eat polao rice & beefs/ chicken curry.

After returning home I connect my mobile with my sound box,
and play song with full volumes, the “Heartbeat “song by Enrique Iglesias. With hearing songs I finish my shaving &
bathing. Then I eat my breakfast &
then become ready for hang out. Today our
destination is Lal Bagh Fort, Dhaka, Bangladesh. At Police Line we cut 2 tickets
a bus name Ananda. It go to Gulistan,
Dhaka. From Gulistan there have some vehicles which are go to Lal Bagh Fort. They
keep 12 TK for every person. At 11:55 AM
we reach the main gate of Lal Bagh Fort.

We cut 2 tickets for enter the Lal Bagh Fort. The ticket
price is 20 TK for local. For Foreigner the amount is 100 TK. And baby whose
age below 2, no need to ticket. We enter
the Lal Bagh Fort. It’s not a big place. But the environment of Lal Bagh Fort
is so charming. When we enter into the main gate at first we see stagnation where we see some sentence. These are
introducing about this fort. The Lal Bagh Fort is only architecture which ideograph
the Mughol Period in Bangladesh. It’s another peculiarity is in Bangladesh this
is the only architecture which made by Black Basalt Stones, marbles, & so
many different colors of tiles. It’s construction remain incomplete. In Lal
Bagh Fort there a Hammam Khana (Bathing Place), a stony two-storied Dorbar Hall
(court room), and a mausoleum where lie down Bibi Pari (Daughter of Shaista
Khan), and Samshad Banu (Said to be the youngest daughter of Shaista Khan).
Also there a mosque with three-domed, a pond (which is now totally dry), three
lovely arcades, and the west side here a beautiful roof-garden with
arrangements for fountains and a water reservoir.

The construction
of Lal Bagh Fort is not totally completed. It still remains with unfinished
state. Emperor Aurangzeb’s son, Prince Mohammad Azam, Subedar of Bengal had
began the construction of this erected at 1678 AD. He stayed in Bangla around
15 months. When the Emperor Called him for returning back, then he left this
fort construction remain unfinished and went to his father’s place. Then
Shaista Khan became the new Subedar in Bangla. He didn’t finish the constriction
of Lal Bagh Fort and it remained with unfinished. After that at 1684 AD when
Iran Dukht (Bibi Pari). The daughter of Shaista Khan had died; he started to
think that this erected is an inauspicious. He buried his daughter inside of the fort and makes
a mausoleum for her. Also there another grave which signify as Shamsad Banu (said
to be the youngest daughter of Shaista Khan.). And Shaista Khan went left it
unfinished.
